Age-Less is a digital platform that aids dementia patients in medication adherence and wellness monitoring.
Having a neurological disorder such as Parkinson’s or dementia can often result in complex care plans and medication regimes with precise timings. Frequently, the responsibility falls to loved ones to ensure the patient is taking their medication each day, attending appointments, and meeting their daily care requirements. This can be just as stressful on the patient as it is on the loved one and may cause strained relationships.
Age-Less is a digital platform for patients with dementia that uses AI and machine learning to monitor and guide patients intelligently. The artificial intelligence can analyse the patient’s emotional state and detect anxiety, stress, happiness, and depression, so care teams can act fast if the patient requires attention. NurseBot is a chatbot for the patient that reminds them to take their medication and asks them questions to ensure they take the correct dose at the right time.
Remote physical therapy is available through the platform using the patient’s smartphone, tablet, or laptop camera. The algorithms track the patient’s movements to monitor changes. All data is available through the Age-Less dashboard, which therapists, doctors, and caregivers can actively monitor to ensure adherence and check in on the patient’s wellness. If the patient has a smartwatch with sleep tracking capabilities, that data can also be transmitted to the Age-Less dashboard. A digital tool to make sure patients are taking their medication while monitoring their emotional state can reduce the time burden on caregivers and allow for more detailed monitoring and fast response when changes need to be addressed.
