Regain control in a chaotic world with the Venu 2 Plus Smartwatch. This diverse wearable helps users get the most out of their day while managing their wellbeing.
The Garmin Venu 2 Plus Smartwatch is an upgrade to an already great fitness-tracking smartwatch that rivals the likes of the Apple Watch 7. One of the key features introduced by Garmin is the Health Snapshot. The Venu 2 Plus monitors several metrics over a two minute period of inactivity and provides the user with an overview of their health. The information includes stress level, heart rate, and respiration rate. With most smartwatches and fitness trackers, the user has to access several menus for this information.
One of the main upgrades is the addition of a built-in microphone. This allows easy response to messages, notifications, and more via the voice assistant. For more hands-free capabilities, wearers can perform contactless payments while out shopping by using Garmin Pay. Users can listen to music through Spotify or Amazon Music apps using wireless headphones. GPS live locations and messages can be sent immediately to a designated emergency contact, or the smartwatch can call emergency services.
The Venu 2 Plus helps users monitor and improve their physical and mental health
The Health Snapshot is only one of the many great features the Venu 2 Plus provides for monitoring health. People can track their menstrual cycles through the Garmin Connect app and record symptoms such as physical and emotional changes. The pregnancy tracking feature provides weekly updates on the pregnancy and provides a way to track and record symptoms and health info.
Not only is the user’s physical well-being considered, but their mental wellness is too. This smartwatch will track stress levels and let users know if they’re having a calm, balanced, or stressful day. During high levels of stress, the Venu 2 Plus will remind the wearer to take a moment for mindful breathing exercises when they are feeling stressed or frustrated, which will help bring the breathing back to normal and calm the emotions.
Good sleep is important for overall well being, which is why the Venu 2 Plus offers sleep tracking capabilities. Users receive a sleep score and can see the stages of sleep as they entered them, heart rate, respiration, and pulse oximetry.
Exercise tracking and customised workouts for beginners to competitive athletes
Users can choose from over 1 600 exercises right on the watch and build their own workouts based on personal goals and preferences. For people who would prefer something preset, the smartwatch has plenty of animated HIIT, yoga, strength, Pilates, and cardio exercises that can be demonstrated right on the OLED screen. Additional workouts are available for download on the Garmin Connect App.
For users training with a specific exercise goal, such as completing a 5K, the Venu 2 Plus comes with a personalised running fitness coach that will push them to achieve their goals. The watch tracks intensity minutes throughout the day to help users monitor their day to day activity. With energy monitoring capabilities, users can see their varying energy levels throughout the day. The user can then see times when they should stop what they’re doing and take a break, readjusting their day so that their body has time to recharge.
“Garmin is a well-established listed company with a value of 23 billion dollars in Feb 2022. Over the years, it has grown significantly, particularly with increasing revenue in the fitness market. This covers its wearables. In Q3 of 2021, revenue was $342 million with an operating margin of 23%. While there was revenue growth, the operating margin is lower in the fitness sector than 38% in the outdoor sector. The revenue growth for the fitness sector is in line with increased smartwatch use globally – According to Statista, smartwatch shipments will reach 253 million in 2025 compared to 142 million in 2021. – Dr Vinay Shankar”
