Supernatural creates exhilarating and upbeat workouts that let you connect with awe-inspiring locations worldwide, all in virtual reality.
Lunge on Iceland’s vast glaciers, squat on the Great Wall of China, or meditate amongst the ruins of Machu Picchu. Supernatural pairs with VR headsets to construct completely immersive and unique workouts – A similar concept to FitXR. Working with Oculus Quest, owners of the VR system can download the companion app on their smartphones and pair them together for a seamless and cohesive workout system.
The supernatural VR app includes hundreds of personalised workouts, with new ones added daily. Membership, which can be monthly or annually, includes unlimited access to motivating coaches, stunning destinations, an extensive music library and the option to create multiple profiles for friends and family. Height, arm span, lunge width and squat depth are all measured and calculated for a unique workout experience, where targets (for arm strikes) and triangles (for squats and lunges) are placed accordingly within the VR realms.
The VR workout app also determines each user’s ‘personal power range’, defined by the effort required to get power hits. When users are within their range, the targets will explode with extra colours, sending shockwaves into the horizon. The curated workouts can improve cardio fitness, increase flexibility, and strengthen every muscle group, as well as their mental health – By tapping into their ‘flow state’, users can boost their energy and uplift their mood.
The app also pairs with Spotify, creating workouts that are mapped to each song. Additionally, users can track their progress, earn badges and streaks, connect with their community, and move their way up the leader board. People can also link their Facebook profiles and share workouts and statistics, to engage those around them. There’s also the option to pair with a heart rate monitor such as the Tickr X, for a thorough analysis of the exercises.
